Throughout the release of Meta Runner Season 2, Glitch Productions also put out four animated shorts to promote new merchandise available for purchase. These shorts featured Bo, who was a character originating in the Meta Runner series as TasCorp’s mascot, now turned mascot for Glitch Productions itself.

These animated shorts were used as a full-scale test of the core systems and processes used for development of Sunset Paradise (including the face system, animation blending system, and a couple of rendering tools), and so a lot of the tools were first iterations. The results of these shorts were further iterations or features added to the system so that when it came time to bring the whole team onto Sunset Paradise, the tools would be ready to go.
