Yard Care Pro

Yard Care Pro was intended to be a management simulator game based on a lawn and yard care maintenance service. Players would advance through a purchase system in order to upgrade their gardening tools and capabilities to clear the assigned lots in the most efficient way and to the customer’s satisfaction. [Reached Alpha Build with much of the gameplay implemented.]

My Contribution

* The grass and masking was created by my business partner but I implemented the scoring, vehicles, and whippersnipper.
** I implemented the base Edge Trimming functionality including the tool following the splines, despawning actors, and scoring but my business partner cleaned it up, making it look nicer and the transition to and from attachment smoother.
*** My business partner implemented the spawning and pickup, I implemented the disposal/scoring and stacking.
**** My business partner implmented the pickup/throwing, I implemented the disposal/scoring and spline system for spawning.
